DLP Projector Lamp & DLP Projector Bulbs

Projector bulbs, usually called projector lamps, are one of the few user replaceable projector parts. Unlike a standard light bulb, projector bulbs (replacement lamp module) vary by model. Search by projector manufacturer and model number to find the correct projector bulb.

Many LCD projectors use a metal halide source, which offers a very white light and a life of 750 - 4,000 hours or more. LCD and DLP projector bulbs typically do not burn out, but gradually grow dimmer, giving you plenty of warning that it’s time for a replacement lamp. All manufacturers' offer a peak rating—and peak lamp life is the time the lamp will last at 80 - 90% of total brightness. So if you tend to travel and count on visual presentations to market your business and sales, a replacement bulb should be brought and handy on all trips due to unfortunate accidents and circumstances. If you have a digital home theater projector, i'd wait or save up slowly for new projector bulbs considering they are very expensive and may become cheaper each following year after the first purchase of your projector.
